As always, I wanted to remind those who visit our web site that Parelli day is the first Saturday of each month at 10 am and all are invited to attend. We only ask that you call first as sometimes we have something special for that day and may not be at the ranch.

It’s amazing how many changes have been made here in the past year. New stalls, new barn going up, another round pen and we’re working on a track around the ranch as well as access once again to the roads and fields from the back of the property.

Several of our people passed their Parelli levels before the changes came through and they worked very hard to be able to do so.

We have added an associate trainer Rafe McAllister. He’s a “ranch grown” cowboy who came to realize how much better for both the horse and rider it is to practice the principles of Natural Horsemanship. He is available for starting horses or taking care of any problems you may have. We still have with us Rachele Kelley who is here for your Hunter/Jumper training and Gabrielle Welch who mainly works with children. If you didn’t know, my special love is working with people and their horses together.

Once again this year we have a group going to Bucarettes and two 4 day trips planned for Pt Reyes.

We will be having two HORSE DYNAMICS clinics with Rafe McAllister. The first will be May 23/24 and we still have a few openings.

The main thing we have been doing here though, is improving our horsemanship. It’s fine to be able to do ground work and ride, but we have been working very hard on the quality of the relationship with our horses. We invite anyone who is interested in this to consider checking us our for boarding. The atmosphere here is conducive to that kind of improvement.
